“DIY” FASHION WHEN BROKE! MISSION EMBROIDERY

Last year around October I came across these beautiful embroidered denim jeans by Gucci (as shown in the picture underneath) that inspired me to create my own embroidered denim.

It took me quite a while to actually get started with the whole process, but now that I’ve started and finished my first pair it’s become so addictive. I started off by buying so many different patches from eBay and Amazon. Most of them weren’t nice at all, but after a long time of searching I finally found some to use!

There are two different types of patches; sew on or iron on patches. I used the sew on patches just to test the quality. This is was also my first time sewing anything, so it’s definitely doable for those that are shying away from purchasing the sew on patches.

Tools needed: a basic sewing kit. And that’s literally it.

I’ll definitely be making some more, maybe on some T-shirts as well, so stay tuned for more 😀

With Love,

P
